Reports to: Technology Manager
General Summary: The Network Administrator is primarily responsible for direct support of all district printing services, as well as New World financial package technical and user support. Secondary responsibilities include backup support for all infrastructure hardware and software.
Essential Functions:
- Provides direct support for district printing services.
- Manages all technical aspects of the New World financial package, specifically user security and program support.
- Provides backup support for Cisco phones, wireless infrastructure, network switches and routers.
- Provides backup support for EMC storage infrastructure.
- Provides backup support for data backups and disaster recovery site.
- Provides backup support for virtual servers related to infrastructure and data backup.
- Executes projects as designed by Technology Manager.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Work experience in a technology-related field, or equivalent technical certifications as follows:
Cisco Certified Network Associate VMware Certified Professional Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator
- 3-5 years of technology support and implementation experience.
- Preferred: Bachelors degree in a technology-related field
