SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER
Reports to: Building Principal
General Summary: A high school teacher provides students educational instruction that will foster and accelerate their intellectual, physical, social, and career development in accordance with district policies and procedures.
Essential Functions:
Qualifications:
- Education – Bachelor’s Degree (minimum)
- Certification or Licensure – Valid Indiana Teaching License.
- Experience – Evidence of success as a highly effective classroom teacher.
- Knowledge – Understanding of collaborative learning teams and effective instructional practices, standards, formative and summative assessments, and ways to disseminate derived data.
Length of Contract: 185 days
Position Type: Exempt
